题型解析

阅读考试的第三部分包含四个短文本。它们可能是一封信、一则通知、一张预约卡、一篇文章的节选、一份传单等。

它们的主题相互关联，但目的不同，所以提供的信息也不同。后面会列出七个问题，问考生能在哪个短文本中找到某些特定信息。

●快速了解文本

做这部分试题时，我们首先应快速浏览四个短文本，弄清楚它们是什么，是谁写的，以及读者可能是谁。然后我们就能了解将它们联系在一起的话题或主题是什么。

接下来，读问题并在关键词下面画线，比如时间、日期、地点、姓名、工作、活动等。问题也有可能与某人的态度、情感或好恶有关。

●找到相关信息

在阅读了文本和问题，并在问题中的关键词下画线之后，应该回到四个短文本中寻找相关信息。例如，如果第一个问题问的是一个日期(date)，那么你就需要浏览四个短文本找日期。可能文本中有不止一个日期，你需要确定哪一个是题目所问的日期，但通常四个文本中只会提到一个日期、时间等。也有可能问题问某物的价钱(how much ... costs)，但在短文本中并不出现 cost 这个单词，而是提到 tickets only £12。

所以，问题问什么信息，你就要在文本中找什么信息。文中的相应信息与问题的措辞不同，但意思相同。

将A栏中的事项与B栏中的相关信息匹配起来。

阅读考试的第四部分会给出一篇较长的文章，约 300 个单词，后面是七个问题，每个问题下有三个选项。问题的顺序与相关内容在文章中出现的先后顺序相同。

●了解文本内容

首先需要略读文章，了解话题和大意，然后再仔细读一遍文章，在你认为可能有助于回答问题的关键词之下画线。

如果有不理解的单词，不要担心。基于对整篇文章的理解，仍然能够回答全部问题。

●找出答案并检查是否正确

依次审读各个问题，将三个选项与文章内容进行比较，并选出答案。然后再次仔细确认你选择的答案是否符合文意。选定答案之后再看看其他两个选项，弄清楚它们为什么不正确。

阅读下面的文章和后面的问题：

Keeping our beaches clean

Rubbish and especially plastic is causing a big problem all over the world. It is in the sea, in rivers and on the land. It is everywhere. Plastic kills thousands of birds, fish and other animals and the problem is getting worse and worse. People think that by the year 2050, there will be more pieces of plastic in the sea than fish.

If you walk on a beach, you can see that this is true. On some beaches there is plastic everywhere.

Of course, this problem is much worse in the summer when tourists spend lots of time on the beach and, sadly, many of them are too lazy to take their rubbish home with them, or, at least put it in a rubbish bin.

选项b)正确，因为文中说塑料无处不在(everywhere)，为全世界(all over the world)带来难题。

选项 c)不正确，从文中可知塑料不仅存在于河流和海洋中，也存在于陆地上。

问题 2: What is said about tourists?

选项 a) 正确，文章中说:... many of them are too lazy to take their rubbish home with them, or, at least put it in a rubbish bin.(……许多人太懒了，不把垃圾带回家，或者至少扔进垃圾桶里。)

选项 b)不正确。游客长时间待在海滩上并不是问题，问题在于他们丢弃在海滩上的垃圾。不管是待五分钟还是五小时，他们都会留下垃圾。

选项 c)不正确，文章没有说人们不应该被允许去海滩，只说他们应该保持海滩清洁。

经过上面的分析，我们不仅找到了正确答案，也弄清了其他选项错误的原因。做题时，如果你不清楚其他选项为什么不正确，就需要再次检查确认。

下面再来做一道样题。

阅读下面的文本，然后选出正确答案。(实际考试中的文章比这篇长，且有七个问题。)

Dear Tom,

I had a job interview in Edinburgh, in Scotland, last week. I was going to get the train from London because I like travelling by train but the interview was at nine in the morning and it only took me 45 minutes to fly there. The train normally takes 5 hours!

I had to wait twenty minutes before the interview because someone was late. That was difficult because I had time to worry about what they might ask me and what I would say to them. It's a good job, so I wanted to do well. As soon as l went in the room I saw lots of friendly faces and they gave me coffee and biscuits. Then I felt really good and happy.

I hope I get the job because although Edinburgh is a long way from my parents'home, it's a beautiful city. Also I will learn so much working for that company and my old job is very boring Anyway, I should know before Friday if I got the job or not. Let's hope I'm lucky
